Police Administration in Siwan

Judiciary in Siwan

There are two courts the Civil Court and the District Court in Siwan. It was during the British rule in India that two divisions, namely, Siwan and Gopalganj, were created in 1875. Civil cases and criminal cases were handled separately. Siwan was then under Saran district. In 1976, a new judgeship was established in Siwan and Gopal ganj came under Siwan. In 1984, Gopalganj was removed from Siwan to form a new judgeship. Siwan was under Saran district till 1976. After the formation of Siwan as a district in 1976, a new judgeship was created for Siwan.

Siwan Municipal Corporation

Siwan stands to be the district headquarters for Siwan district. They also hold the famed position for being the 18th most inhabited town and first class urban centre in Siwan district. The municipal council of Siwan was established in the year 1924. There are a number of projects undertaken by Municipal Corporation for the welfare of Siwan people.The city corporation works as a team towards the welfare of the place. They take initiatives and project plans for good roads, water supple, sewage and drainage and lot more. Though state highways are not in Siwan some key road constructions are handled. They have a good road connectivity. The municipal corporation works towards the welfare of Siwan, they are taking steps to make Siwan clean, green and citizen friendly. The city corporation has been more focussed on sewage and sanitary, water supply, roads, storm water drainage, solid waste management, traffic and transportation, urban housing and poverty, urban environmental and social amenities.

    सर हमारे गाँव का ंनाम दरैला बाजार है। जो गुथनी थाना के अंदर आता है। हमारे गाँव के बाज़ार का जो रोड है उसका ंनिर्माण सही तरीके से ंंनही हुआ है। जिसके चलते बारिश का पानी पुरे बाज़ार ंमे जमा हो जाता है और पुरे ग्राम के लोगो को बहुत दिक्कत होती है। अतः आपसे ंआग्रह है की आप हमारे गाँव का ंंनिरिक्षण कर उस समश्या का समाधान करे। अमित कुमार।

    Lot of people in siwan throwing dead animals such as dog ,rat here and there which give bith of many kind of disease so municipal take attention to the problems
